When you're the new kid on the block, sometimes you have to make a lot of noise so that people notice and respect you. Castor Gallery opened yesterday in New York City's Lower East Side with a serious presentation of works from their private collection. Banksy, FAILE, Shepard Fairey, BAST, Futura, Judith Supine, Daniel Arsham, Invader, Mario Testino, and Damien Hirst are only a few of the artists represented on the walls of the Broome Street gallery, which is not a bad way to introduce yourself to the neighborhood.
