Ben Stiller Was Worried About Injuries During the "Zoolander 2" Stunt at Paris Fashion Week

A trip on the runway would have made the announcement a much more viral event.

At this point everyone knows about the Zoolander 2 runway stunt pulled by Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson at the Valentino Show during Paris Fashion Week. Two weeks later and people are still talking about it, as more details and rumors about the actual film continue to flood the Internet. At a screening last night for his new film While We're Young, Stiller spoke again about the stunt and about how he felt going into it. In addition to being shocked that people cared about the movie 20 years later, Stiller said that he was "just happy we were able to keep it a surprise and nobody tripped."

A fall during the show would have made the stunt even more legendary, but the veteran comedic actors would have definitely found a way to make it look intentional. "We thought it would be a fun idea as a way to announce the movie," Stiller added. "We sort of had top three designers or brands that we went to and TJ Maxx and Burlington Coat Factory bowed out at the last minute so we went Valentino."
