As a part of three-artist show at Bottleneck Gallery, Los Angeles-based illustrator 100% Soft is showing a collection of film-inspired works from a series that he calls "Lil MacGuffins." Alfred Hitchcock coined the term macguffin (or mcguffin) to refer to the "mysterious object in a spy thriller that sets the whole chain of events into motion." 100% Soft uses it to create adorable illustrations of his favorite films, including Guardians of the Galaxy, Mission Impossible, The Maltese Falcon, and Pulp Fiction.

The show opened on Sept. 12 and also features great pieces from Glen Brogan and Russ Moore. Prints are available now on the Bottleneck Gallery site, and there is still plenty of time to see the art in person before the show ends on Sept. 27.
