5. Trill Burgers
We don't get down to Houston often, so instead we had Houston come to us in the form of Bun B's talked-about burger spot. No surprise here: it lived up to the hype. Chef Mike personally made us a smashburger while telling us about the time Drake visited the restaurant, and later Bun B made a visit to the Lagoon to promote his brand.
4. 360 with Speedy Morman and Funny Marco
Anytime we can link up with the host of 360, it has to happen. We checked out the booth for his brand Comf and talked about how he'd love to interview Canadian comedian Nathan Fielder. After that, he sat down with Funny Marco for a no-holds barred conversation that got into everything from causing chaos at Walmart to where he's at with collaborator Bobbi Althoff.
3. Better Gift Shop
The beloved Toronto brand was holding it down for Canada on the floor with some amazing premieres for the ComplexCon audience. That includes a cap with a couple of very Toronto references and an Avirex Hockey Jacket collab with a timeless hockey league look and feel.
2. Jae Tips x Saucony "What's the Occasion?" Drop
ComplexCon is all about the exclusives, and there might've been no drop more anticipated this year than Jae Tips' latest project with Saucony. Right in the middle of the floor, the booth was as colourful and eye-grabbing as the sneakers themselves. Had to come away with pairs in both colours.
1. Sneaker of the Year Panel
It's the highlight every year. This year's panel brought together some heavy hitters: JLP, DJ Clark Kent, Kristen Noel Crawley, Lil Yachty, and Jim Jones, but it was the crowd that really made the room electric. They loved the Terror Squad x Air Force 1, disagreed on the Action Bronson x New Balance, and Yachty was so impressed by the Jae Tips x Saucony collab he copped a pair on StockX right in front of everyone.
