Represent remains one step ahead of the pack as they ready up for SS20 with a top tier Pre-SS20 collection for Black Friday.
As the busiest retail period of the year approaches and everybody starts gearing up for Christmas, wish lists only seem to get bigger and bigger. If you were hoping Represent might be the ones to help you cut yours down, you'll be bitterly dissapointed. Long-time followers of the brand will be all too familiar with the fire that ensues on Black Friday, and the new Pre-SS20 is no exception.
For this exclusive 28-piece collection, the Heaton brothers set out to fine-tune and update some of the brand's core apparel lines, putting specific focus on heavier seasonal garments. The ever-popular, ever-present Military Pant gets four new fixtures - black wool, black camo, camo, and leather - each of which features blacked-out hardware. Pre-SS20 always welcomes a cold new graphic with the vintage-washed 'Love Hunter' hoodie and tees, with a bleach-like faded treatment offering one of the lineups strongest statement pieces. This drop certainly has no shortage of shirting; with a classic red and black plaid featuring alongside a subtle all-black finish, with new takes on British mohair Work Shirts standing as a testament to the boy's eye for detail.
Speaking on the extremely limited tie-dye mohair work shirt within the updated duo, founder George Heaton said: "The tie-dyed mohair was the result of a technical fault at the Scottish factory, creating a purple, black and vintage white mix that perfectly aligned with our pantones for the Black Friday collection so we took it and managed to make 20 unique pieces out of the roll."
Further to the updated apparel component of the drop, Black Friday will welcome a selection of new iterations of the popular Terrier and Alpha footwear silhouettes. As we've come to expect from Represent, the collection also comes complete with a cinematic campaign that continues the exploration of the Great British outdoors set up with FW19. This time around we bare witness to the coming together of two motocross riders as they tackle Rivington's Pine Forrest.
Represent's 28-piece Pre-SS20 collection is set to release online this Black Friday, on November 29th.
