A recent photo of Justin Bieber being choked has the Internet comparing him to Jesus. It all started when the 22-year-old was photographed with his tour mate Post Malone's hand around his neck at a Houston night club last week. It was originally reported that it was the result of Bieber putting a cigarette out on Malone's arm, but the rapper later said this wasn't true. Regardless, an onlooker snapped a photo of the incident at the exact moment Malone choked Bieber, and now people are calling the grainy image the "modern equivalent" of Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper.

Similar to the famous painting, those surrounding Bieber (who in this case would be Jesus) share the same exaggerated body language as those around the table. But, like that viral New Year's photo we saw a few months back, the image shares several of the same characteristics as other Renaissance masterpieces. As one social media user pointed out, the photo fits the Golden Ratio, a visual pattern found in many famous artworks.

One Reddit user has hilariously named the photo the "Choking of Justinus by Bieberangelo Duechebagus c. 1654." Of course, it wasn't long before people started making their own version of the photo.
