Although founded as an accessories brand, IISE just released an editorial featuring their debut clothing collection. The editorial, shot by Christina Paik, highlights the detail-oriented brand’s first foray into garments. Focusing mainly on outerwear, the collection has a fishtail parka, a bomber, a jacket inspired by traditional Korean clothing, a leather double rider, a button down shirt, some cropped wool trousers and, most importantly, some coaches jackets. The collection also utilizes traditional Korean fabrics in some of the pieces as well. All in all, this is a pretty solid debut collection. Strong first impressions all around. Unlike this one time in law school that still haunts me to this day. It was the first week of class and I was like, “Law students are such assholes because we have inferiority complexes because we’re not in med school,” and NO ONE laughed. Sometimes I can’t sleep at night because of the deafening silence that followed that joke. Go cop some of these garms as soon as you can.
