Now that we’ve confirmed that Yeezy Season 2 is actually happening, many rumors have been circulating about what the collection will entail. Though the details are pretty limited at the moment, adidas Originals will reportedly not be involved.
According to the crew at Hypebeast, the sportswear giant isn’t collaborating with Kanye West for the second installment, despite the continuation of the footwear partnership.
We first got word of the Yeezy Season 2 collection during our August interview with model Luka Sabbat, who hinted at the fact that West would be doing the second season solo: “I already saw season two […] there’s not much adidas branding on most of it, it’s just a Kanye brand which I think is dope.”
