New York Fashion Week: Men's may have come and gone, but Givenchy has something special in store for its menswear fans. The label's temporary relocation to NYFW is meant to celebrate the opening of its flagship store in the city, and Givenchy is going all out for the show. In addition to showing womenswear for Spring/Summer 2016, Givenchy will also show couture and most importantly, menswear, Nico Bellay reports

The inclusion of menswear is fitting considering that Givenchy mixed in womenwear, with the help of Naomi Campbell, during its menswear show earlier this year. Tisci is working with artist Marina Abramović on the show, and promised WWD, "It's going to be very interesting." While this was probably not the development Tisci was hinting at, we still count it as a major development.

Bellay also retweeted a Twitter user who asked if Caitlyn Jenner would be walking in Givenchy's show. While the retweet is probably insignificant, it might be something to watch.

Givenchy will present its Spring/Summer 2016 collections on the second day of New York Fashion Week, Sept. 11—a date that Tisci spoke on when the announcement was first made. "It's a delicate day for America, and so the show is going to be a celebration of family and love," he said.
