Now that the Fall 2015 shows are over, was able to look back at the page views on its site to determine which collections people were most interested in seeing. Every year that the publication has recapped the month, Chanel has grabbed the number one spot on the list, but this year Kanye West dominated with his adidas "Yeezy Season 1" collection, besting Karl Lagerfeld by over one million views.

The exact tally according to was 4,578,461 views for Kanye, and 3,405,945 views for Lagerfeld, with Dolce & Gabbana coming in third with a little over 2.9 million views, despite recent controversies. editor in chief Dirk Standen said that he "knew there would be a lot of interest around the collection, but I wouldn’t have necessarily predicted that it would beat out Chanel. We’ve covered celebrity lines before, and we covered Kanye’s first two collections he did in Paris a couple of years ago, but they didn’t have that kind of impact ... obviously he’s at a whole new level of fame now, but part of it is, I think, there’s a purpose behind his collection that people can’t ignore."

He continued by saying that "I think this idea [Kanye] has — which is essentially to bring good design to the masses — I do think it’s the right idea at the right time. Obviously, he has a lot of things to figure out in regards to pricing and manufacturing conditions and those kinds of things that go along with trying to produce that kind of line, but I do think the idea is valid and timely, and I think people are responding to that."

Kanye has been on fire lately, from his fashion month activities, to being announced as the headliner for the Glastonbury Festival, getting an honorary doctorate, and everything in between, so we're sure that this is the icing on the cake for him. We'll see if he can pull of a repeat victory next year, or if Lagerfeld will be coming for his neck.
