visvim is known for its solid execution of Americana-inspired clothing. So it only makes sense that the Japanese brand would utilize idyllic Western imagery in its new Spring/Summer 2015 lookbook.

Directed and styled by designer Hiroki Nakamura, the series of photos perfectly capture visvim’s heritage-tinged aesthetic. Military-inspired outerwear, crisp button-ups, unstructured blazers, and tailored knits are presented in a youthful, sun-kissed world that resembles many American small towns. The vintage influence within the line is also accentuated through the editorial’s use of white picket fences and old-school cars in the backdrop. There’s no uptight, moody dimensions in these pictures—just wholesome images that evoke the good ol’ days of Anywhere, U.S.A.
