Have you ever had one too many? Have you ever had one too many and then destroyed a $30 million dollar painting as a result? We all do stupid things when we're drunk, but it's probably not a good idea to vandalize artwork worth more than your life's savings. Carmen Tisch was locked up after she was caught scratching, punching, and rubbing her butt against a $30,000,000 dollar Clyfford Still painting titled 1957-J No.2. If you didn’t think this story was ratchet enough, Tisch was also caught trying to urinate all over the painting. Apparently, her strange appreciation for the work of art cost over $10,000 dollars in damages. Tisch was charged with criminal mischief and was held on a $20,000 dollar bond.

This poor Jimmy Hendrix Statue never stood a chance. Aged 20 and 21, two obviously drunk guys went on a spray-painting spree in Seattle back in 2012. Along with this awesome statue, the two tagged a bunch of construction sites, street signs, and even the bus they were riding on. Apparently, the vandals decided to spray paint the statue because it was the 43rd anniversary of Hendrix’s death. That’s one way to pay tribute.

Oliver Jufer, from Switzerland, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for spray painting a portrait of a king in Thailand. Needless to say, he was under the influence. Despite his inebriation, authorities in Thailand charged Jufer seriously. He was actually facing 75 years in prison, but since he was honest and admitted his crime, his sentence was reduced to 10 years. To minimize any insults toward the king of Thailand, the media wasn’t allowed to cover Jufer’s hearing. Eventually, Jufer was pardoned and deported from the country.

A vase made between the years 5 and 25 AD in Rome was being shown in this British Museum until this drunk guy named William Flloyd came along. Flloyd grabbed the vase in a drunken rage and shattered it into several pieces. A sculpture that was thousands of years old fell victim to a few brews. Lloyd only had to pay a fine of three pounds to avoid being held prisoner for two months. Talk about getting off easy.

In 2007, a group of drunken rebels broke into the Musee d'Orsay and vandalized a historic Monet painting. The group broke into the museum by forcing a door open and proceeded to stab the Monet's The Bridge at Argentu, leaving a gash upon the surface. When the security alarm was triggered, the group fled and evaded capture from the police, leaving the painting on the floor. Why they did any of this, no one but their drunken minds knows.
