If you're looking for clothes with vintage quality, like the good ol' days when shit was made to last, visvim is a brand that always delivers. For its fall/winter 2014 collection, designer Hiroki Nakamura put a major emphasis on durability, thinking far ahead in the lifespan of each piece in the collection.

Inspired by the natural phenomenon of the formation of patinas, pieces in the collection were created with consideration for how well they would age. Through time, the wearer will give these items a distinct development based on his or her life. “What is common among these different things is the process of aging, use, and exposure that result in the change of these surfaces, creating a heightened aesthetic beauty possessing depth and established character,” explains Nakamura.

The collection is composed of outerwear, including shearling jackets and pea coats. One of the highlights includes an olive drab trench with a floral patterns found hidden in the lining. There’s also a solid selection of lace-up boots and its signature Skagway sneakers. All in all, it’s another incredible collection, and no one expected anything less.
