Designer heists are all the rage this season. Whether they’re holding up high-end boutiques or breaking into three-story closets, burglars are shelving their appetites for money and jewels in the interest of swiping luxury labels.

This week, another fashion-driven robbery took place in France when three thieves made away with a truck loaded with $534,600 worth of Louis Vuitton leather accessories.

French news agency AFP reports that the burglars forcibly stopped the truck while it was leaving a warehouse outside of Paris on Wednesday. The truck driver and his colleague were forced at gunpoint to abandon the vehicle and get inside the trunk of a BMW while the criminals drove away with 40 boxes of Louis Vuitton gear. The two men were later released, and the truck was eventually found empty.

The incident is currently being investigated, and Louis Vuitton representatives have not released a statement.
