Prom season is here and students are out there trying trying to flex heavy on each other. Even if it’s by any means necessary, like wearing goods received through a five-finger discount.

Authorities are reporting the arrest of Northern Arizona teen Kyle Laderoot for wearing a stolen tuxedo after the store owner spotted him wearing it during a high school prom. The 18-year-old is accused of breaking the Prescot Valley store's window and taking the $600 suit off the mannequin.

Major props to the store owner on managing to find out where the stolen tux was. Although the Associated Press does not give details on how or why the store owner was attending the prom, we’re just going to assume she was just on the hunt for her stolen merch at every formal event until it was found.

According to the Prescott Valley police, she accompanied the cops to the prom and gave them a matching style, color, and designer name. Laderoot’s conflicting statements didn’t help him either. So do you think when the cops marched him out of prom he got a standing O for being a legend, or laughed at?
