The Gao Brothers (Gao Qiang and Gao Zhen) are looking for volunteers to participate in an upcoming interactive, site-specific performance, presented by RH Contemporary Art. Entitled Embrace: The Utopia of Hugging for 20 Minutes, the performance will involve 60 strangers holding each other in front of an audience for 1,200 seconds.

The idea is one that the artists conceptualized back in 1999 as "a means to confront pain and suffering with a simple, yet ultimately monumental gesture" and this will be their first time performing it in New York City to coincide with the gallery's "Outside the Lines: New Art From China" group exhibition.

If you're looking to participate in the performance, send your name, age, and country of origin to rhcainfo@rh.com
