Mario Shu and Daniel Siering's illusion painting reminds us a lot of Liu Bolin's work, only their subject is a tree and their medium is spray paint. In Potsdam, Germany, Shu and Siering wrapped a section of a tree trunk with plastic and spray painted it to look like the tree had been cut in two and the top portion was somehow floating in mid air. It's hard to believe that this was done with cans of paint and not meticulously painted by hand. Despite being on a tree, this is technically street art (unless you're one of those annoying purists). We hope that Shu and Siering have more of these up their sleeves because it looks so cool.
