At Pitti Uomo, nobody turns streetstyle photographers heads like menswear vet Nick Wooster. The Internet style icon has been attending the tradeshow before blogs even existed, so he knows his way around as well as what to bring to this bi-annual event. Style.com caught up with the Wooster to get his insights on the current state of Pitti.

Wooster, who has been going to Pitti since 1988, reveals that not much has changed outside of what one needs to bring. “I’m actually dragging around a bag, which, twenty years ago I had to do, but today, everything can be contained on a phone, so I don’t have to,” says Wooster.

The most important fashion week essential for him is a charger or extra battery for his gadgets. “You really can’t function without a phone or an iPad. It’s all here,” he adds. We’re sure many people can relate to this since these two are items you can't live without these days.

Of course, for a man who has his finger on what’s next, we all want to know what his favorite item was during this trip. Here he reveals that one of his highlights was a Mark McNairy chambray dress. The new menswear silhouette isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, and Wooster himself says he will be wearing it. "I will absolutely be ridiculed for it," says Wooster on the dress. For more on the interview visit the Style.com website.
