"Mentoring Courtney Love: David LaChapelle and Courtney Love" will be opening this Saturday, April 13 at the Lyman Allyn Art Museum in New London, CT. The show is musician and artist Courtney Love's first museum exhibition, and features works by both herself and her mentor, David LaChapelle. Love's works on display are pieces completed on paper using various pigments including pastel, watercolor, graphite, acrylic, and marker. Both her and LaChapelle's works are portraits, but David contributes only photography. The exhibition is on view until August 10 and will also be available for viewing online on the museum's website.
