Brian Eno Creates Sound and Light Designs for an English Hospital

Another way to help the world through music.

None

Brian Eno has proven himself to be more than an ordinary musician, time and time again, using his abilities in sound and art to help people all over the world. Having previously created ambient music installations to help people relax in airports, he's now turned his attention to Montefiore Hospital in Hove, East Sussex, England, attempting to create a “serene atmosphere” assisting the hospital’s “three dimensional, all-embracing means of treating patients." Using "generative music," Eno has installed a public piece, 77 Million Paintings for Montefiore, and a private one for patients, visitors, and staff, Quiet Room for Montefiore. As interest builds for this project, hopefully more hospitals can transform their atmospheres with his groundbreaking installations.
