Alma Haser Makes Origami with People's Faces in "Cosmic Surgery"

Don't get bent out of shape.

London-based artist Alma Haser does something pretty fun to look at. Her series Cosmic Surgery contains portraits of people with their faces replaced with origami. She first photographs her subject normally, then she prints multiple images of the person's face and makes fun origami shapes. Then she places her paper project over the person's face and rephotographs it. How innovative.
