Who said critter pants and garments were dead? Thom Browne didn't get the memo. The designer's collection for Spring/Summer 2013 takes the popular New England prep motif and makes it high fashion. Lobsters and whales take center stage in the collection that includes menswear staples such as knits, jackets, and ties, but it's not your typical weekend gear for kids that attended Exeter or Andover. Madras trousers are mixed with whale-print jackets, simultaneously paired with Lobster-print ties. Not everyone can pull of this much prep steez, but if you can, you're on your way to joining society's elite. Not a bad proposition.
