Last month, we announced that Mick Jagger's love letters to his former lover Marsha Hunt would be auctioned off at Sotheby's in London. Hunt famously inspired the Rolling Stones' 1971 hit "Brown Sugar" and had Jagger's first child. Jagger apparently penned the intimate letters from the set of the film Ned Kelly in Australia. While they were initially expected to fetch £70,000 - 100,000, they sold for £180,000 in the end. Is the final price too much given that these are letters? If you see them as a valuable piece of rock and roll history, apparently not.
