Vince Hannemann, also known as the Junk King, has been collecting thousands of discarded objects since 1989, amassing enough to create a giant cathedral of junk. In 2010, city officials in Austin, Texas closed the structure for safety reasons and demanded that he obtain building permits. Thanks to the help of volunteers since then, the cathedral has begun to be restored. The video below shows just how ambitious his project truly is.
