Coolest Art We've Seen All Day: James Charles Turns the $5 Bill Into Crazy Portraits

These altered U.S. currency bills make it clear that it's no longer all about the Benjamins.

It's all about the Benjamin's baby...and the Frankensteins and Princess Leias and Mr. Ts and the Hugh Hefners. Artist James Charles' latest works come in the form of modified currency: each president's face has been doctored to resemble a pop icon, musician or other artist, and is complete with a caption in the same lettering and materials the U.S. Mint uses on bank notes. In usual art-world fashion, these bills are going for around $700 a pop, so if you purchase one, make sure you don't spend it. [Trendland]
