In a clip from a new episode of LeBron James’ show The Shop, the Los Angeles Lakers forward said he wants to own an NBA team in Las Vegas some day.

Ahead of the arrival of the show’s latest episode, which drops on YouTube this Friday, a preview shows that Bron might already have some major plans for when he retires from playing. “I wanna own a team, I wanna buy a team for sure,” he shared. “I would much rather own a team before I talk. I wanna, yeah, I want a team in Vegas. I want the team in Vegas.”

His comments are taken from Season 5 Episode 4, which will feature guests Fat Joe, Amy Schumer, Don Lemon, and the show’s creator Paul Rivera.

As it stands, there’s no NBA teams in Las Vegas, but the city is often brought up alongside Seattle whenever the conversation of NBA expansion is brought up. Rumors regarding both Seattle and Vegas have circulated for years, but we’ve yet to hear anything concrete when it comes to possible plans. Considering he’s the first active NBA player to become a billionaire, LeBron is certainly in a position to purchase a team.

Of course, this isn’t the first time ‘Bron has expressed interest in owning his own team. "I've always said that my goal was to own a team, own an NBA team," he said in a post-game interview last year. "I've got so much to give to the game. I know what it takes to win at this level. I know talent. I also know how to run a business as well and so that is my goal."
