The NFL Playoffs are here. It's Super Wild Card Weekend and like every other week this season, we're sharing our picks for every game on the slate. This NFL season was unlike any other that we've seen, with COVID-19 disrupting more than a few weeks of the season. Still, the league was able to make it through and we're now into the second and most important season: the playoffs.
There's plenty of storylines heading into the playoffs, with a wide open field that seems to be for the taking by a number of teams. Will Tom Brady and the Bucs live up to their championship expectations? Can Lamar Jackson finally win a playoff game? Are the Bills really Super Bowl contenders? It's going to be a crazy weekend of action.
We already broke down all of our gambling picks for this weekend on the pod this week, but here are all of the Complex Sports straight up picks for Super Wild Card weekend. Special shoutout to Zion for taking the regular season crown with the picks, too. Let's watch some playoff football.
Colts at Bills
Channel: CBS
Point Spread: Bills -6.5
Chopz: Straight up, I like the Bills. I think the game will be closer than the spread, though. But the Bills are rolling right now and they’ll take this one.
Adam: In their last nine January games on the road, the Colts are just 2-7 straight up. Plus, the Bills are the hottest team in the league and will have fans in the stands courtesy of New York State’s Supreme Leader Andrew Cuomo for the first time all season. Buffalo easy.
Angel: I expect this to be a great game. I’ve been frontin’ on the Colts most of the season—especially early on—and all they’ve done is prove me wrong. I’m still taking Buffalo, though. Josh Allen and those boys have been rolling all year and I don’t expect that to change.
Zion: Bills.
Rams at Seahawks
Channel: FOX
Point Spread: Seahawks -3
Chopz: I have no real feel for this game. The Rams always play Russell Wilson and the Seahawks tough, but is Jared Goff going to play? Even if he plays, will he be effective? I have to take Seattle, but I don’t feel strong about it.
Adam: Rams have a dreadful covering their last 14 trips to Seattle (4-10 ATS) and if the road dog can’t cover of course it isn’t going to win outright. Seahawks.
Angel: There was one point in the season where I might’ve taken the Rams here, but I just can’t do that in this spot. Jared Goff is a toss up to play still and even if he does, that thumb won’t be 100 percent. Give me the Hawks at home.
Zion: Seattle.
Buccaneers at Washington Football Team
Channel: NBC
Point Spread: Buccaneers -8
Chopz: I think the Bucs win this one handily. Washington just doesn’t have the offense to keep up.
Adam: Buccaneers, but closer than the experts think since the WFT pass rush should give Brady problems.
Angel: Washington is going to be inspired, but the Bucs still win. I can’t be against Brady here.
Zion: Bucs.
Ravens at Titans
Channel: ABC
Point Spread: Ravens -3
Chopz: The Titans are the higher seed but the Ravens are favored. Give me the home underdog Tennessee to win this one.
Adam: Lamar Jackson feasts on bad defenses and the Titans, statistically speaking across the board, have a bad defense. Ravens.
Angel: The Ravens are dead last in passing and in the playoffs in this era of football, you have to be able to throw the ball. As much as I want to take the Ravens here, I think I have to go with the Titans to beat them once again.
Zion: Ravens.
Bears at Saints
Channel: CBS/Nickelodeon
Point Spread: Saints -10
Chopz: Saints win this game because Mitch Trubsiky is the QB for the Bears. That’s it.
Adam: Saints. Best bet of the weekend is the Over (47) here and the best Nickelodeon show was “Salute Your Shorts.” Google it, kids.
Angel: Saints easily get the win.
Zion: Saints.
Browns at Steelers
Channel: NBC
Point Spread: Steelers -6
Chopz: The Browns won’t have their head coach, multiple assistant coaches, and some key players. They haven’t been able to practice all week and are playing in their first playoff game in 18 years. That all sounds like the perfect situation for an upset to me. Browns win.
Adam: Did you know the Browns finished the regular-season with a -11 point differential? Every other AFC playoff squad had a differential of +52 or better. Add in all the COVID craziness and it’ll be Steelers by a bunch.
Angel: Man, if I was a Browns fan I would be punching the air. I have to take the big brother here, unfortunately. I hope its a good game at least. Steelers win.
Zion: Steelers.
