The NBA never sleeps, and with free agency about to begin this weekend, it's the absolute perfect time for the Complex Sports team to unveil our official NBA Power Rankings. A few things before we jump into it: These rankings are based on current NBA rosters and do not factor any rumored free agent activity that can become official July 6. Basically, we're not counting on the Nets to sign either Kyrie Irving or Kevin Durant. However, we are including trades that have been agreed upon as well as draft picks. Anthony Davis is on the Lakers. Mike Conley is on the Jazz.
We will be doing another round of rankings in a few weeks, once the dust of free agency settles. So, if the Nets come away with Kyrie and KD, they'd obviously be pretty high. And trust us, we don't hate any teams. These rankings were done without any bias involved, and if you don't believe us, just look where the Cavs and Knicks are ranked by two guys from Cleveland and New York.
