Recently, a report from the Malaysian newspaper The Edge Malaysia maintained that Caterham owner Tony Fernandes had put the company up for sale for $589 million. That story has since been refuted by Fernandes in a press release from the Caterham Group.
Fernandes commented: "The Caterham Group is not for sale. We love what we build and we are always looking for further investment."
It's a positive note for Caterham fans, and hopefully a turning point in their motorsport ventures. Caterham F1 has yet to score points in the 2012, 2013, or 2014 Formula 1 seasons.
