First Electric NASCAR Pace Car To Debut at Sprint Cup Richmond 400

An all-electric car will be on the track next weekend, but don't expect it to be taking corners at 200 mph. The electric Ford Focus is merely a pace car and will not be participating in the race. The first ever electric safety car will make its debut April 28 at the Sprint Cup Richmond 400.
