Barry Bonds was finally sentenced* for his felony obstruction-of-justice charges to two years probation**, 30 days of house arrest***, and 250 hours of youth-related community service. The perjury and obstruction indictments were made after Bonds used roundabout answers in a 2003 federal investigation into BALCO, a California lab that sold steroids and other performance enhancing drugs. U.S. District Judge Susan Illston also gave Bonds a ridiculously tiny fine of $4,000.
*He's still a free man until his appeal goes through, a process that could take up to 17 months.
**He doesn't have to serve a single day in the slammer.
***It'll be tough living in a mansion with a gym, personal chef, and probably anything else he wants.
