Luxury and exotic car makers have been having some of their best years ever, and this means they have plenty of money to throw into R&D of amazing new cars. All of that R&D is paying off now, and it seems like nearly everybody brought a supercar to the Geneva Motor Show this year.
Thanks to Lamborghini, Alfa Romeo, Ferrari and McLaren, we have a ton of new metal to lust after, and the one-percent has some difficult decisions to make. With this in mind, we hereby declare 2013 to be The Year of the Supercar. Yeah, we just updated the Chinese zodiac.

Porsche 911 GT3
Nobody is surprised by the 911 GT3, it's one more in the never ending torrent of 911 variants, but what did surprise us was the car's greatest feature: if you pull the upshift and the downshift paddles simultaneously, the car dumps the clutch, revs the engine and gets the back end out, just like you would want to in a manual. Sweet.
Giugiaro Parcour
It's an Italian designed car named after the French hobby of jumping on crap and based on a supercar from a German-owned Italian legend. Regardless of the convoluted heritage, this Lamborghini Gallardo based concept is an off-road supercar, and we really want to see Sebastien Loeb thrash it on a WRC stage.
Koenigsegg Agera S Hundra
Koenigsegg's 100th car is this amazing carbon fiber and 24k gold Agera S that will tear you face off with an astounding 1,030 horsepower. And yes, those are carbon fiber wheels.
Spyker B6 Venator
Spyker needed to do something cool to come back from its failed foray into the incredibly difficult field of Saab saving, and the B6 Venator looks like just the car to boost the brand back up. It retains the company's signature style, but offers it to the public at a much lower "$125,000 to $150,000" price point.
Pininfarina Sergio
Pininfarina chose to honor the late Sergio Pininfarina in the only way it knew how and the way he'd have liked best: making a beautiful car. We think this is nothing short of brilliant, and would love it if Ferrari helped make a few for the road.
Ferrari LaFerrari
Yeah, the name is terrible. It's so bad that "Ferrari Candidiasis" might have actually been better and we'll probably have to amend The 25 Most Ridiculous Car Names of All Time.
Regardless of the bizarre badge, LaFerrari's 963 horses, sub-three-second 0-60 time, and exotic body make it a very appealing package, even if you would try to avoid calling it by name.
Lamborghini Veneno
The Lambo Veneno is insane, a little childish (like all lambos), and absolutely stunning. It's a shame that only three were made and that they'll probably never leave their climate cooled garages.
Alfa Romeo 4C
At least there's one supercar at the Geneva show that us peasants can hope to own some day: the Alfa Romeo 4C. Since it weighs in at only 2,100 lbs, the tiny turbo four that produces 240 horse still rockets the miniscule Italian to 60 mph in only 4.5 seconds. Rumor has it that it will get close to 40 mpg and cost around $50,000 too.
McLaren P1
McLaren just unveiled the production version of the P1 hypercar, which has some really big tires to fill. Luckily, this looks like it will certainly do the trick. It's a 903 horsepower hybrid that has been stuffed with tech from the McLaren F1 team.
