After French tennis player Gilles Simon said women shouldn't get paid as much as men at Grand Slam tennis events, Maria Sharapova put him in his place. "I'm sure there are a few more people that watch my matches than his, so..." she said. Has anyone ever heard of this guy? Didn't think so.
Sharapova's rival Serena Williams laughed off the comments by saying "She's way hotter than he is." Preach.
In related news, Simon lost his second round match today. Sharapova and Williams each advanced to the third round today. How's that for karma?
