Cam Newton was involved in a wild brawl during a 7-on-7 football tournament on Sunday.
Footage shared on social media shows the former No. 1 pick tossing two individuals around before more people show up and throw punches. Eventually, security and others showed up to stop the melee.
According to the caption on the video, Newton was allegedly fighting members of “TSP,” or TopShelf Performance, a 7-on-7 football team from Atlanta, Georgia.
According to TMZ, the brawl took place at Coretta Scott King Young Women's Leadership Academy in the ATL for a 7-on-7 tournament event put together by Newton's foundation C1N.
Another piece of footage circulating on social media shows Newton moving someone out of the way before someone from the TSP group tries to blindside him with a punch before the brawl took place.
People on social media were impressed with Newtown's fighting skills as he stood on his feet and even kept his hat on while taking on multiple individuals.
"Cam Newton looks unphased getting jumped," one person tweeted. Another said, "Cam Newton got jumped by 6 guys. Dude proceeded to handle each and every one of them and look unphased after. Yall gotta stop letting these internet narratives boost your heads up. Football players are used to going against 300lb+ dudes. Yall not it."
A third person wrote, "wtf make you want to fight Cam Newton off all people. Bro look comfortable af fighting 4 people at the same time."
