Mitchell & Ness Celebrates AND1's 30th Anniversary With Collaborative Capsule Collection

The collaboration features several shirts emblazoned with the iconic graphics from the basketball brand.

Mitchell & Ness have released a brand new collaboration with AND1 in honor of the legendary basketball brand's 30th anniversary. 

On Friday, the Philadelphia-based company shared a post on Instagram announcing the news with a few shots of the various items available on the official website. The items available include several t-shirts with AND1's iconic graphics, similar to those the brand released when it first broke into the clothing industry in the 90s. 

"Relive the nostalgia in highlights, Mixtapes, and streetball culture in the '90s and 2000s," read the post's caption. "In partnership with the legendary American basketball footwear and apparel company that has heavily influenced the world of professional sports and sports entertainment, we celebrate the 30th Anniversary of AND1 with a new collaborative capsule."

Elsewhere in the fashion world,  A Bathing Ape and Anti Social Social Club collaborated for a special collaboration coinciding with the release of the new film, Gran Turismo. 

The BAPE collaboration features three different t-shirts in multiple colorways, a hoodie, a snapback hat, and a Fanatec DD Pro steering wheel for PlayStation 5. Featuring a combination of BAPE graphics and that classic GT logo, the apparel combines the worlds of motorsport and streetwear. 

As seen in the sizzle reel on Instagram, the brands also unveiled a BAPE x GT R33 Nissan Skyline GT-R available to the public soon. The Anti Social Social Club capsule, meanwhile, features ASSC's bold typography and that sleek motorsport look. 

The collection includes t-shirts, hoodies, sweatpants, a snapback hat, a wheel rug, a trunk case, a track jacket, and a racing helmet. To coincide with the collab, the brands have also produced an ASSC x GT R34 Nissan Skyline GT-R.
