Kobe Bryant's latest book, The Wizenard Series: Season Onedebuted atop the New York Times' Children’s Middle Grade Hardcover list this week. It's his fifth No. 1 New York Times bestseller.

Vanessa Bryant reacted to Kobe's latest accomplishment since his untimely death on Instagram, saying that he "would have been so proud to see his work continuing on with The Wizenard Series: Season One."

Kobe and their daughter Gianna, along with seven others, died in a helicopter crash in late January. Since that tragic event, Vanessa has occasionally appeared on Instagram to recognize the special moments that bring back memories of her loved ones, such as a jersey retirement ceremony, and Valentine's Day.

Vanessa spoke with ESPN on Saturday about her husband reaching the "peak of his NBA career" by being inducted to the 2020 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame class. "It is an incredible accomplishment and honor," she said. "We are extremely proud of him. Obviously, we wish he was here with us to celebrate. This is definitely the peak of his NBA career and every accomplishment that he had as an athlete was a stepping stone to be here."
