During Saturday's preseason game between the St. Louis Rams and the Cleveland Browns, Sam Bradford attempted to pass it to tight end Jared Cook while getting hit by defensive end Armonty Bryant. The contact didn't look like much, but soon after, Bradford was lying on the FirstEnergy Stadium field getting looked over by team trainers. Eventually, the 26-year-old quarterback was able to walk off the field, however, he seemed to be favoring his left knee.

The following day, news surfaced that the Rams feared that Bradford had the same torn left ACL injury which sidelined him for half of the 2013 season. Still, the team remained optimistic as they awaited the results of the MRI. A short while ago, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen, the results came back, revealing that Bradford did indeed suffer the same torn ACL injury. Rams head coach Jeff Fisher will reportedly speak on his No. 1 quarterback's status at a 5 p.m. CT press conference later today.

If the reports are true, the Rams will be looking at backup Shaun Hill to become their immediate fill-in with the season just around the corner. Hill, who is 13-13 in his career as a starter, isn't a bad replacement in a pinch, but the franchise may start looking across the NFL for another option. But who? There are plenty of names being thrown around on Twitter, like the Bucs' Mike Glennon or the Redskins' Kirk Cousins, but in the meantime, St. Louis will probably continue to roll the dice with Hill.
