On Sunday, the Los Angeles Lakers dropped their 10th straight game, tying their longest streak in franchise history. It's a feat that a fierce competitor like Kobe Bryant wouldn't stand for. At least, that's what we thought. Following last night's 101-82 defeat at the hands of the Charlotte Hornets, Bryant was asked about the importance of getting a win on Tuesday to prevent the Lakers from setting a new team record. "Honestly, it doesn't really matter," he said. "What, it makes a shitty season less shitty?"

"The Navy SEALs have a way of taking guys to the bottom of the pool," Bryant added. "Sometimes you've got to go to the bottom of the pool, man, and figure it out. We're almost there. Gasping for air." While there were reports that Kobe ripped into his teammates after losing their sixth straight contest, it appears that the Black Mamba has accepted the fact that this team is going to lose... consistently.

It's a shame that his career has to end like this, but then again, maybe Kobe should've called it quits a while ago.
