Kobe Bryant may be a lame-duck playing out the string, but that doesn't mean he can't chew out at least a few more people before he makes his way out the door permanently.

Yesterday, after the Lakers lost for the sixth straight time, a fed up Bryant ripped into several players in the team's locker room. According to multiple sources, Kobe's main gripe had to do with his teammates smiling after their 121-103 loss to Portland. He spoke for a couple of minutes after coach Byron Scott addressed the 9-37 squad.

Two of the main players to feel Mamba's wrath were youngsters Julius Randle and D'Angelo Russell, both of whom he called out by name.

This is probably what you want the veteran to do in a lost season, set the future down the right path before leaving for good.

When asked about it afterward, Kobe playfully said "You know I don’t do the gossip [expletive]."

We shall see in the coming days if his words had any effect.
