On Monday's episode of The Bill Simmons Podcast, Bill Simmons briefly discussed the Miracle in Motown with Cousin Sal by telling a very interesting story. The game between the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions happened to be on the same night as a GQ party which Simmons was attending with Jimmy Kimmel and others.
Before heading off to the event, they went to a sushi spot to grab dinner. While there, they spotted Harry Styles of One Direction sitting at the table right next to him. In the distance, the Packers/Lions was playing on the TV. Following the conclusion of the miraculous Rodgers-to-Rodgers game-winning touchdown connection, Styles turned around and started telling the table with Simmons and Kimmel, "WE did it!" "That saved OUR season!"
Wait. So, Harry is a Packers fan? Not only is this true, but according to Simmons, Styles went on to show off a Packers tattoo on his arm. Who knew?
