Arike Ogunbowale does it again! With the score tied up at 58 with just three seconds remaining, Notre Dame called upon Ogunbowale and the ice water in her veins to help give the Fighting Irish their second national title in school history. Mississippi State did everything they could to stop Arike from getting a clean look at the basket, forcing her to toss up a fallaway jumper near the baseline. It didn’t matter.

It’s no surprise that Ogunbowale was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player. She also knocked down the game-winner in national semifinals against UConn.

Trying to think of anyone else, men’s or women’s side, who won both the semifinal and then the championship on a buzzer beater the way Notre Dame’s Arike Ogunbowale did this weekend.
