If you don't follow Doug Fister on Twitter, then you may have missed out on a pretty sweet treat. And a free one at that. Earlier today, the Washington Nationals pitcher celebrated Christmas Eve by sharing the following tweet with his 24,000+ followers.
You read that correctly. Fister willingly gave away the barcode on his Starbucks gift card, so the rest of the world could enjoy a free cup of coffee on him. Three hours later, the 30-year-old hurler posted this message:
Well, it was fun while it lasted. Maybe we should do this again? You know, New Year's Eve is just around the corner, right?
