According to Pro Football Talk, the Jets' Chris Johnson was arrested last night for open carrying of a firearm in his hometown of Orlando, Fla. PFT is also reporting that even though Johnson does possess a license to carry in Florida, this charge stems from open carrying of a weapon.
Johnson may have one more year and $2 million coming his way next season, but the Jets, who are currently undergoing a coaching and general manager change, could see keeping the 29-year-old running back as a pointless endeavor after another lackluster season in 2014. This latest news regarding CJ could see the deal on his fate with the organization.
