Nothing to see here. Just Byron Scott adding more fuel to the Kobe Bryant vs. Dwight Howard fire.

On Tuesday, Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard will face each other on the court for the first time since the 28-year-old center chose to join the Houston Rockets, instead of staying with the Los Angeles Lakers. That fact alone should be reason enough to tune in tomorrow, but Lakers head coach Byron Scott decided to add more fuel to the fire when he was asked about the duo of Kobe and Howard, which fell apart before it even started.

Per the Los Angeles Daily News' Mark Medina

“My outside perspective is Kobe is a real serious guy and wants to win championships,” Scott said. “I don't know if Dwight is that serious about it. I know No. 24 is and that probably was the clash.”

Welp. Byron doesn't mince any words here. Howard was already motivated about making a statement against Kobe & Co. tomorrow at his former home, the Staples Center, but don't be surprised if these words motivate DH to put up something, like a 25-20 game. It's going to be fun to watch. Stay tuned.
