They say that you learn something new everyday. Today, that moment comes courtesy of the Nets' Andray Blatche, who informed the media earlier today that he is...wait for it...half-Filipino! And he's not stopping at just making a claim. Blatche is looking to become naturalized as a citizen, so he can compete in the FIBA World Cup this summer. If this sounds a little crazy, you're not alone. Here's what his teammate Joe Johnson had to say upon hearing Blatche's news.
But that's not all. Blatche would also like to be referred to as "Young Seymour" from here on out. No word on why, but yeah. Um, okay?
