Upon the realease of the Dodge Neon in 1995, then Chrysler president Bob Lutz said, "There's an old saying in Detroit: 'Good, fast, or cheap. Pick any two.' We refuse to accept that." The compact car came in faster than its competitors with 132 horsepower at a price that led the Japanese press to call it the "Japanese car killer." You may not think much of it now, but the Neon was kind of a big deal.
Many of its owners have refused to accept one more option: stock. The Neon has been a wildly popular car for customizers. Take a look at CarDomain, a popular site for users to share their custom cars, and you'll see more than 10,000(!) customized Neons. Naturally, they're not all going to be gems. We laughed, cried, and resisted the urge to vomit to find the absolute Worst Dodge Neon Customs.

Console
We'll leave the pink alone and instead criticize the decision to customize the center console without upgrading from stock.
Tribalish
Too. Many. Graphics. The owner had the good sense to only ruin a portion of the Neon's surface.
Panda
Let's ignore the wide body kit on the side and instead focus on the stickers in front: a pink mustache and "I Love Haters." Good news for the owner: We loathe your schizophrenic whip.
Blue
The paintjob and taillights are more dated than Paul Walker's bleached curls in the O.G. Fast and the Furious.
Green
It depends on what this guy's going for, but we can't help but instantly think of mashed up baby food. Maybe when he says, "what's up, baby?" he's literally talking to a baby and not the hot MILF.
Douche
Honestly, we just wanted a chance to make fun of the dude posing with his stupid car. His shirt matches the car's skulls and his guages do an equally good job of warding off women.
Logos
This car brings out so many emotions. Disgust from those rims, confusion about the color-matched wing (don't act like you need more downforce), and nostalgia remembering Empero Palpatine's crazy electricity from the original Star Wars trilogy.
Youtube
We ripped this photo from the video below and, shockingly, whoever was filming managed to go 21 seconds without laughing.
Doors
We don't even need to see the finished product to know that this ride will be a mockery of cars that have doors like this stock.
Racecar
It's really one of the biggest mysteries in the world as to why these rims were ever created.
Pink
Your six-year-old niece may love unicorns more than anyone else, but she's not the person you should go to to paint one on your car.
Eagle
Is that an eagle or a shitty two-colored piece of abstract art?

Yellow
The sad part about cars like this is that the quality of the paint job usually seems pretty high. Too bad the design isn't just as good.
via
Flag
Way too much going on here. A fade from orange to yellow, checker flag, flames. Pick one and keep it moving.

Awkward Stripe
The fatest racing stripe of all time.

Spoiler
When you only paint the bumpers black it makes your ride look like a bumper car. Or at the very least, something we want to destroy. And why does it have Acura Integra rims on it?
Lifted
"Yeah, that's my car over there: the frog with humongous wheels." On the low, though. this thing would be an absolute blast to drive. Imagine taking this through a swamp!
Multicolored
We wonder if this dude just parks his car on his driveway when it snows and it all magically melts away.
Flames
This is the second time we've seen this Ninja Turtle mouth-lookin body kit, and it's made the car look worse both times.
Half
A poorly defined verticle line through the front door and a random spot of the roof. #factsonly
Riddler
This custom Riddler paint job just makes us realize how utterly basic the rest of the Neon is.
Hello Kitty
When did the t-shirt airbrushing stands start doing cars? This is what happens when your car is painted in 45 minutes.
