Tom Brady's Netflix Cameo Is Not a Nod to Robert Kraft's Massage Parlor Fiasco (UPDATE)

"That's not what that was about," Brady told the media while directly addressing them. "It was taken out of context just like you're taking it out of context to make a story for yourself.... It was meant to be something different than that."

Brady went on to explain that the episode was created before Kraft's legal issues became public.

"It was shot on a green screen. It was agreed to a year ago. It was written four years ago," he continues. "It's unfortunate that people would think that I would choose to do something like that about Mr. Kraft."

From Antonio Brown to Robert Kraft's massage parlor fiasco, the Patriots have been embroiled in a lot of off-field scandals this season. Tom Brady has still managed to have some fun.

In an episode of the Paul Rudd-starring Netflix comedy, Living With Yourself, Brady makes an overt allusion to Robert Kraft's adventures at the Orchids of Asia Day Spa.

In his cameo, Brady walks out of a strip mall massage parlor named the Top Happy Spa. He's clearly relieved by whatever took place in the building as he takes a deep breath and smiles before making his way to his car. Rudd is intrigued to see the future Hall of Famer. When the comedian opens the door, Brady looks back with a smile and asks him if this is his first time at the establishment.

Rudd's character replies with "Uh-huh, you?" The quarterback shakes his head and said "Sixth," a nod to his Super Bow rings.

Earlier this year, Kraft was charged with two counts of soliciting prostitution after being wrapped up in a sting operation at a massage parlor that doubled as an escort service in Southern Florida. The owner was caught on camera at the business on two separate occasions. In March, Kraft issued a formal apology for his actions.
