On Friday, the Lakers had a 125-103 win over the Wizards at the Staples Center. It was their tenth straight win, improving to 17-2 in the regular season.

LeBron James finished with 23 points, 11 assists, and three rebounds in just 25 minutes.

Wizards coach Scott Brooks was in awe of James’ performance, which is the type of showing that’s been consistent throughout his 16-year career.

Per Fred Katz of The Athletic, Brooks said:

Scott Brooks on LeBron James: “If you guys were not so tired of giving him the MVP, he should have nine of them by now.”

LeBron is a four-time MVP winner, earning the award in 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2013. In 2018, James Harden won the MVP.

If LeBron keeps it up, he could very well win his fifth MVP.

The Mavericks will travel to Los Angeles to face the Lakers on Dec. 1.
