Watch These Middle School Students Go Insane As Cam Newton Pops Up To Play Catch With Them

Cam showed up to play with the kids after he saw one of them wearing his jersey.

If you were 12 to 14 years old attending your town's local junior high school, how would you react when your favorite football player randomly shows up on the school grounds to play catch with you and your friends tossing a football around?

You'd probably do either of these options:

  • Freeze up you are catatonic from being in awe of the spectacle upon his arrival
  • Scream and run in circles
  • Jump for joy and proceed to ask for his autograph
  • Play it cool and keep your G intact to not look too starstruck

Don't front. More than likely, you're going to do either one, or all, of the top three.

That's exactly what happened when Cam Newton popped up out of nowhere in the schoolyard of the Community School of Davidson in North Carolina on Friday afternoon. He had asked the school administration if could hop the middle school's fence, which they approved. Besides, when is the next time they're going to have an NFL MVP in their schoolyard?

He was on a break from making a film nearby, and noticed one of the students wearing his jersey while throwing a football with his buddy. The Carolina Panthers quarterback decided to show his community service dedication and joined in the fun.

Mimi Siadak, a seventh-geade teacher at the school, said, “I saw one girl crying and hyperventilating and when I asked, ‘Sweetheart what’s wrong?’ she said, ‘That was just the best moment of my life.'" She continued,"The students just herded all around him. I still can’t believe he did that.”

And, of course, he made them all take a photo dabbing in unison with him.

Hey, who cares if you think he's a sore loser after Super Bowl 50.Cam loves da keeds! That's what counts.
