Zinedine Zidane wants his legacy at Real Madrid to live on.
The French legend has revealed that he's ready to take his place in the dugout at the Santiago Bernabéu – as soon as he's asked to by Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez.
Zidane is currently head coach of Real Madrid Castilla – the Spanish giant's developmental team – and the club's first team manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has come under scrutiny following disappointing results since the turn of the year.
Speaking to French station Canal+, Zidane said he's ready to step up if and when required:

"If the post of Real's coach was proposed to me, I would certainly agree. But there is a coach right now who is doing a very good job. And I'm in a structure and still learning.
Am I ready for the job? You are never ready, and even if you're not you still say yes. As a player, I didn't forge my career in two years. Things happen gradually. In coaching, it will be the same."

No matter what happens, the Zidane name is going to live on at Real for a good while yet – he has four children playing at the club's academy.
